Mad Woman

MAD WOMAN

They say, “Move on; it's been years, and you are still thinking of them. You need to go out, meet new people, explore more, go on dates, and take a chance. You can't be stuck in this loophole forever”, and they are right... You can't be stuck on a person forever; you have to move on, but what if you can't? You tried all the tips and tricks, but you couldn't. What if you have picked a side, decided not to listen to anybody, and become a narcissist? What if you still spend your time and mind stalking their Instagram? Tracking their snap location... Checking their last seen, standing outside their house or college in the sun, hoping to catch a glimpse, visiting the place where you last met, where you gave each other your last goodbye and kiss on the head, what if you are still standing at that metro station like a fool, feeling numb and stupid? Does that make you a mad woman?

What if you want to scream your lungs out and cry in their arms? You just want to be wrapped around their arms and don't want to let go. You want to mow down your rage in the hope that they will calm you down with a gentle kiss on the head. If you only want to be seen by them and no one else, what if you are happy being invisible to the whole world if they win you over? Does keeping a memory box make you look unwise? What if you want to kiss him one last time before ripping his head apart? Does that make you a mad woman?

No, you are not a mad woman; you were just a girl who fell in love and couldn't get out of it. You are taking your time because they took everything from you, and now you are building yourself back piece by piece as the world calls you a mad woman, so you silently write in your room because murder is wrong.
